As reported a few days ago exclusively by iWaggle3D, besides the Helghast helmet, a Cloaking Helghast Marksman action figure will be in the pack as well (created by DC Unlimited). Pre-order bonuses are also on offer.

We knew since July that the PlayStation Move support in The Sly Collection was going to be limited to some mini-games. Today, Sony has revealed a little bit more about those, whilst confirming 3D support throughout all the 3 games (and mini-games) included in the collection, as well as announcing a solid release date for North America: November 9th (at $39.99).

First Universal 3D Shutter Glasses to debut soon

Just a few days ago I published an article offering some ideas about how to ease mainstream adoption of 3D shutter glasses technology. The first, most important proposition I made was to come up with a standard that would allow glasses cross-compatibility across different TV brands whilst laying the foundations of a third party market. Which then again would help in bringing down the average price of the glasses.

Well, guess what? Turns out my call for a standard was already made by some entity slightly more relevant than iWaggle3D. Not only that, but the first universal 3D shutter glasses are coming out this very month. With more to follow throughout the year.

Unless you have been living under a rock for the last few weeks, you should be aware that the upcoming Call of Duty: Block Ops will feature a stereoscopic 3D mode. On every system.

Senior Manager IT at Treyarch, Robert Sanchez, was kind enough to answer some of my questions on the subject.

5 ways Sony could improve 3D glasses reputation

Ask any "3D hater" what he actually hates about this whole 3D fever, and the first thing he will mention is probably going to be the glasses (quickly followed by arguments related to pricing and health issues). After all, that's what Nintendo itself identified as the main barrier to 3D adoption. "It's the glasses...", remember? (@ 11:41)

PlayStation Move third party accessories tour Chapter 3 of 4: Chargers and stuff

As you can guess by the title, this chapter focuses on the charging stations currently available for the PlayStation Move set. And man, are third party manufacturers in love with this sort of equipment. Besides the official Charging Station, in fact, there are more than 20 alternatives out there!

A work in progress (as you can tell from the placeholder Latin descriptions) and probably not meant to go live yet page over at the official Killzone 3 website lists 3 different editions of the game for pre-order. All of them seem to be offering the very same bonus content (Blood and Thunder Map Pack, 10 euro [Retailer] Gift Card, Helghast Goggles), which is obviously a mistake. But wait, there is more.

Being able to charge the PlayStation Move by simply plugging it into any USB port is nice and all, but it's not really as practical as doing the same with a DualShock 3. The reason being, you can't really play with it while it's charging.

Of course there are different means to overcome this little inconvenient, but perhaps it's worth considering the purchase of a dedicated charging station.

Welcome to the second part of our trip across the plastic lands of the third party accessories for the PlayStation Move. In this chapter we are going to take a look at those attachments that don't involve shooting, but rather actions like slashing, swinging, turning or punching.

Yep, it's time to get physical.

PlayStation Move third party accessories tour Chapter 1 of 4: Guns and stuff

Three months ago I published an article about the first 3rd party accessories being developed for the yet to be released PlayStation Move. Since then, the catalog has grown exponentially, to the point that it can easily take a couple of days of Google searching to build a comprehensive knowledge of all that is currently available out there. No sane person would do that, right? Well...

Talking about Virtua Tennis 4 to the great people over at DualShockers, Sega representative Fabian Doehla confirmed the game will support all sorts of alternative control methods beyond the already known Move only solution, allowing to use the Navigation Controller to move you character around as you swing the racket with the Move as well as to ditch both and just play with a traditional DualShock 3 controller.

Japanese PlayStation Move launch commercials

Curious to see how Sony Computer Entertainment Japan is promoting the PlayStation Move launch on Japanese television? Good, because here is a collection of all the ads being aired right now for you to enjoy. Mind you there is a lot of Beat Sketch! love in these ads, which makes sense as that's the first party game Sony decided to bundle with the PlayStation Move. Someone at SCEI must be quite addicted to it.

I know I'm a bit late to the party with this, but finding a Navigation controller ain't easy these early days. In fact, it seems to be a very rare bit of equipment as Sony is apparently distributing it to retail with a ratio of 1 every 40 PlayStation Move Starter Packs. Or something like that, a trusted source told me.

About Flight Control HD music not looping... [UPDATED]

Isn't it annoying when the rather nice and fitting Flight Control HD music ends during gameplay, leaving you with just the sound effects? Yeah, it is. We have contacted developer Firemint for an explanation and to investigate about a possible via-patch solution.

[UPDATE] Should have done my homework before asking since PSNStores already did and got the answer. Which reads as follows:
"Since some people play for hours and hours, we’re pretty sure they would get sick of it. This way it's a short, sweet melody to welcome you back every time you play!"
Fair enough. Here are a couple of suggestions about how to deal with it anyway.
